    Salary: £28,000–£35,000 per annum
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Shopify Ecommerce Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day management, merchandising and optimisation of their ecommerce websites.

This is a hands-on role ideally suited to somebody with strong Shopify experience who enjoys managing ecommerce stores, launching products, creating engaging website content and continuously improving the online customer journey.

Working closely with marketing, commercial and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure the websites remain engaging, accurate and commercially focused, while supporting product launches, promotional campaigns and wider ecommerce growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Take day-to-day ownership of multiple Shopify ecommerce websites, ensuring they provide a smooth, engaging and customer-first shopping experience.
    • Manage website content including homepages, landing pages, product pages, collections and navigation.
    • Create and update products within Shopify, ensuring descriptions, imagery, pricing and product information are accurate and consistent.
    • Manage homepage merchandising and product collections to maximise product visibility and support ecommerce sales.
    • Coordinate website activity around new product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns and marketing initiatives.
    • Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to ensure website updates align with wider business priorities.
    • Monitor website performance and ecommerce sales using Shopify analytics and Google Analytics / GA4.
    • Analyse customer behaviour and identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement and the overall customer journey.
    • Manage and utilise Shopify apps and third-party integrations that support the effective running of the ecommerce stores.
    • Ensure website content remains consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
    • Support the creation and optimisation of digital content, including product imagery, banners and promotional assets.
    • Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure relevant product and marketing content is available across appropriate sales channels.
    • Identify opportunities to improve ecommerce processes, website functionality and onsite merchandising.
    • Support ongoing SEO and ecommerce content optimisation to improve organic visibility and product discoverability.
    • Use AI and digital tools where appropriate to improve content production, merchandising and ecommerce workflows.

    About You

    • A good understanding of ecommerce trading and online merchandising.
    • Experience coordinating product launches and promotional campaigns across an ecommerce website.
    • An understanding of customer journeys, conversion optimisation and ecommerce best practice.
    • Experience using Google Analytics / GA4, Shopify reporting or similar analytics platforms.
    • Strong content management skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Confidence working with product imagery and digital assets; basic image editing or photography experience would be advantageous.
    • Experience working with Shopify apps or third-party ecommerce integrations.
    • An understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to ecommerce websites.
    • A commercial mindset with the ability to use website and sales data to inform decisions.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple website updates, launches and campaigns simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with marketing, commercial and senior stakeholders.
