    Candidates should ideally have:

    • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification or equivalent
    • Exposure to PLC, HMI or industrial automation systems
    • Experience with drive commissioning or configuration tools
    • Previous experience within machinery manufacturing, process equipment, automation or an OEM engineering environment

    Training & Career Progression

This role offers genuine opportunities to broaden your technical experience and develop into more advanced engineering positions.

    Potential progression routes include:

    • Controls Engineer – PLC/HMI development and system integration
    • Test & Validation Technician – electrical testing, diagnostics and quality assurance
    • Electrical Design Technician – electrical drawings, EPLAN, BOMs and system layouts
    • Commissioning Engineer – machinery testing, validation and customer-site commissioning

This makes the position particularly well suited to an ambitious Electrical Technician who wants to develop beyond machine wiring and gain greater exposure to controls, automation, testing or commissioning.

    Working Hours & Overtime

The position is contracted at 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.
