    HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment Manager) – Corby | Multi-Site Manufacturing

    Guided Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in Corby, for an experienced HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment Manager). This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive health and safety professional to lead HSE operations across three manufacturing sites, including a newly developed, state-of-the-art production facility.

    This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong health, safety and environmental culture, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation, reducing operational risk, and driving continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities across three manufacturing sites.

    • Ensure compliance with current UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations.

    • Develop, implement and continually improve HSE policies, procedures and management systems.

    • Carry out risk assessments, workplace inspections and site audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.

    • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.

    • Deliver engaging health and safety training, toolbox talks and inductions to employees at all levels.

    • Promote a positive safety-first culture throughout the organisation.

    • Monitor HSE performance through reporting, KPIs and compliance audits.

    • Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors and senior management where required.

    • Support ongoing operational improvements while ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • A NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher qualification).

    • Previous experience as an HSE Manager, Health & Safety Manager or similar within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

    • Proven experience managing health and safety across multiple sites.

    • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice.

    • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    • The ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the business.

    • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

    • An engineering background would be advantageous but is not essential.
