Guided Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in Corby, for an experienced HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment Manager). This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive health and safety professional to lead HSE operations across three manufacturing sites, including a newly developed, state-of-the-art production facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong health, safety and environmental culture, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation, reducing operational risk, and driving continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities across three manufacturing sites.

Ensure compliance with current UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations.

Develop, implement and continually improve HSE policies, procedures and management systems.

Carry out risk assessments, workplace inspections and site audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.

Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.

Deliver engaging health and safety training, toolbox talks and inductions to employees at all levels.

Promote a positive safety-first culture throughout the organisation.

Monitor HSE performance through reporting, KPIs and compliance audits.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors and senior management where required.

Support ongoing operational improvements while ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher qualification).

Previous experience as an HSE Manager, Health & Safety Manager or similar within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Proven experience managing health and safety across multiple sites.

Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice.

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the business.

A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

An engineering background would be advantageous but is not essential.
