Project Manager – M&E
Location: M4 Corridor
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car + Laptop + Mobile
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic M&E company operating across the M4 Corridor. This role offers the chance to oversee multiple projects from award to completion, ensuring successful delivery across a range of disciplines.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from inception to handover, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Reviewing contracts, identifying key deliverables, and ensuring compliance.
- Overseeing design reviews, contract programming, and procurement strategies.
- Allocating workforce efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Scheduling materials, approving plant selection, and liaising with suppliers.
- Attending client meetings, providing updates, and ensuring strong communication.
- Conducting site surveys, establishing conditions, and overseeing site setup.
- Implementing COSHH standards, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Monitoring budgets, managing variations, and reporting on project finances.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring integration with project plans.
- Managing validation documentation and ensuring project compliance.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in M&E project management, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of contract management, health & safety regulations, and site logistics.
- Knowledge of piping systems, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and mechanical processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project planning tools and software.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
