Supply Chain Planner – Growing Business in Crawley

Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious business based in Crawley, looking to appoint an organised and analytical Supply Chain Planner to join their expanding operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys working with data, forecasting demand, and ensuring products move efficiently through the supply chain.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock availability, improving planning processes, and supporting business growth through accurate forecasting and effective logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.

• Analyse demand patterns and identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy.

• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure the timely movement and delivery of goods.

• Monitor inventory levels to maintain product availability whilst minimising excess stock.

• Work closely with internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to align supply with customer demand.

• Produce regular planning and performance reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain and planning functions.

• Resolve supply chain issues proactively to minimise disruption to customers and the business.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Demand Planner, Logistics Planner, or similar planning role.

• Strong background in logistics and supply chain operations.

• Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and producing actionable insights.

• Proven experience in sales forecasting and demand planning.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP or planning systems would be advantageous.

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across multiple departments.

• Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
