Guided Talent is currently recruiting for a Yard Coordinator on behalf of a reputable HVAC Engineering Company. The Yard Coordinator will need to be based in or near the Chatham area, and this role offers an excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer or someone with a basic understanding of Gas or HVAC Engineering to develop their skills within a vibrant team. As a Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising and overseeing the management of equipment, ensuring smooth operation of the yard, and assisting with logistical needs related to HVAC and Gas engineering projects. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining efficient operations, coordinating deliveries, and supporting the technical team with accurate records and resource allocation. This position requires a proactive and organised individual capable of multi-tasking and working collaboratively with colleagues to meet project deadlines.
Key responsibilities for the Yard Coordinator:
- Basic understanding or experience in Gas or HVAC Engineering
- Organisational and logistical skills to manage yard operations effectively
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with technical teams and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Previous experience in a yard or logistics environment is desirable, but not essential
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures related to engineering yards
- Forklift License is Essential
